HomeFundIt Down Payment Help

Your down payment doesn't have to come from your savings alone.

HomeFundIt lets family and friends gift toward your down payment — online, from anywhere — and you can stack grants up to $4,500 toward your purchase. Ana Cortez helps Texas buyers put it to work, and teaches real estate agents and loan officers how to bring it to their clients.

Questions buyers ask

Is HomeFundIt a loan I have to pay back?

No. Gifts and grants aren't loans — they aren't repaid. Program guidelines and eligibility still apply, and Ana confirms what you qualify for before you count on it.

Can friends give, or does it have to be family?

With HomeFundIt, anyone can gift toward your down payment. The gift still has to meet your loan program's guidelines, which Ana checks with you.

Can I stack grants and gifts together?

Yes. The program is built for stacking grants up to $4,500 toward your purchase alongside gifts from the people in your life.

Which loan types work with HomeFundIt?

Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, Renovation, AIO and more. Ana matches the program to the loan that actually fits your situation.

Will my loan documents be in Spanish?

Ana's service is fully bilingual — she explains everything thoroughly in Spanish — but the loan documents themselves are issued in English.

Do I need a loan file to attend the training?

No. The training is for real estate agents and loan officers who want to reach buyers earlier. There are no time limits and no loan file needed.
